My daughter and I had no prior tiling experience. Cathy helped us turn our idea into a layout. She advised us on the right products and tools, where to get them and how to use them. At each phase she gave us a lesson. She was available to trouble-shoot. She was willing to do the work (or parts of it) or to teach us how.

We had Cathy do the tile cutting and some tricky edgework. She does beautiful work and is a skilled and patient teacher. We could not have planned or executed this project without her. We are very much do-it-your-selfers and wanted to install our kitchen backsplash ourselves, but we had never before done any tiling. Cathy helped us with measurements, instructed us on tile cutting and proper installation, and checked on our progress along the way.
